Radio Research Ireland;
Radio
Research Ireland is a network of individuals and organisations
who share an interest in Irish radio and research. It was
set up at a meeting in Mary Immaculate College, University
of Limerick, November 2004. The following aim and objectives
were agreed at that meeting:
Aim:
To promote and foster Irish research on radio
Objectives:· To establish an Irish network for those interested in radio
research
- To
review the current state of Irish radio research
- To
seek ways of assisting the development of the research agenda
of individuals with an interest in radio
- To
assess the possibilities of joint research projects and
publications in the future
- To
investigate possibilities for collaboration and co-operation
with others in Europe and beyond
- To
seek funding for this network and for radio research in
Ireland generally
- To
undertake regular evaluation of the work of the network.
